March 7, 2016 – The Government of Nova Scotia is adding a roundabout in Digby County to help traffic on to and off of Highway 101.

According to the Yarmouth County Vanguard, the intersection is one of the upgrades planned as part of the Highway 101 expansion project that will begin in 2017.

The roundabout will be built at Highway 303 just south of Exit 26. The federal and provincial governments committed $17.7 million in funding for the first phase of upgrades near Digby in October of 2014.
