BOMAG appoints EDFA as Quebec rental equipment rep
BOMAG has announced it is partnering with Mont-St-Hilaire-based agent, EDFA, as its rental equipment line representative in the province of Quebec. As the new BOMAG manufacturer’s representative, EDFA will work with independent and provincial rental outlets to make sure they have the right mix of BOMAG compaction equipment in their rental fleets to support their customers.
“EDFA has been a part of the Quebec rental industry for 13 years and is an excellent fit to expand BOMAG’s support to rental companies in this market,” says Dan Church, sales manager for BOMAG (Canada), Inc. “EDFA’s founder, Erick Desormeaux, is well respected and has had an active, 20-plus year career working with rental outlets in Quebec. He has also served the rental industry as a board member of the Canadian Rental Association, representing a previous employer.”
EDFA now offers rental outlets throughout Quebec one of the industry’s broadest lines of soil and asphalt compaction equipment. In addition to a comprehensive line of tandem vibratory and single drum ride-on rollers, the full BOMAG rental equipment offering includes vibratory tampers, single and reversible plate compactors, walk-behind rollers and trench compactors.
“I’ve known Dan and the BOMAG team for years, and I am excited to be an agent for the walk-behind and ride-on rental equipment line. The BOMAG brand is well-known in Quebec and has a reputation for innovative design, rugged durability and superior service life with low operating costs,” says Erick Desormeaux, president of EDFA. “The BOMAG line is an excellent addition to the construction tools, fans and drying equipment we currently offer the industry. I look forward to working with all rental companies, both large and small, to make sure they have the right type of compaction equipment to serve their customers’ needs.”
