Jan. 7, 2015, St. Catharines – W.S. Tyler, the premium screening solutions company in the mining, aggregate and industrial mineral industries, has named Peter Kilmurray as its vice president of sales.

Kilmurray joined the team midway through 2014 and has been expanding existing business across North America. He supervises seven technical sales representatives in the U.S. and Canada. Since joining W.S. Tyler, Kilmurray has been visiting customer sites regularly with W.S. Tyler sales representatives to ensure customers are getting the most from their processing equipment.
Now, Kilmurray is implementing an aftermarket program that involves post-sale follow-ups, equipment testing and technical support. The program includes vibration analysis, rebalancing and recalibration of the customer’s vibrating screens, and regular visits to the customers’ sites to ensure maximum uptime.
“This program has us proactively making sure equipment is running properly and is reaching 100 per cent capability,” Kilmurray explained.
Kilmurray says an important element of the program is stocking machine components at W.S. Tyler’s locations in St. Catharines, Ontario; Edmonton, Alberta; Conyers, Georgia; and Phoenix, Arizona. This guarantees customers won’t be down for more than one day.
As vice president of sales, Kilmurray also is part of W.S. Tyler’s leadership team, which connects daily to ensure the company is meeting customer needs in all departments.
With 20 years of experience and a background in electrical engineering and business administration, Kilmurray says he feels at home with the W.S. Tyler family.
“W.S. Tyler has a great history and an even better future,” he said. “I’m excited to use our experience, challenge our team, and continue to find ways to better serve our customers.”
