terex_finlay_684May 29, 2013 – The new Terex Finlay 684 is a fully self-contained 2-deck
inclined screen, the latest in Terex's line of 6-Series tracked mobile inclined

The machine is engineered and built for working in
quarrying, mining, construction and many other aggregate applications. It
compacts and transports easily, and can be set up or torn down quickly.

The new screenbox on the Finlay 684 features two full size
4.3m x 1.7m (14'x5'7") inclined decks providing efficient screening and high
capacity. The screenbox features quick wedge tensioning, access holes and
bottom deck hydraulic tensioning system to reduce time required for mesh
changes. It's three discharge conveyors hydraulically fold for transport providing
the operator with rapid set up and tear down times.

A 1050mm (42") variable speed belt feeder, with hydraulic
gearbox drive, is fitted to the machine as standard and has proven performance
and versatility in demanding and varied working environments. The hopper has an
8m³ (10.50yd³) capacity as standard and can be fitted with a 14ft-tipping grid
or 12ft vibrating grid.

The plant can be hydraulically folded and ready for transport
in less than 30 minutes.

Key Features:

  • New double deck 4.3m x 1.7m (14' x 5' 7") screen with full
    catwalk access.
  • Maximum utilization of the two 4.3m x 1.7m (14' x 5' 7")
decks provides ultra-efficient screening capabilities even at small aggregate
  • A combination of quick wedge tensioning on the top deck,
convenient access holes and hydraulic tensioning on the bottom deck ensure mesh
set up and change out times are kept to a minimum.
