Moody’s Downgrades Vulcan to Junk;

March 10, 2011 – Credit rating agency Moody's downgraded U.S.
aggregates giant Vulcan Materials VMC below the investment-grade line
last week, cutting its rating on Vulcan's senior unsecured debt from
Baa3 to Ba1, noting that it expected results to remain "weak over the
intermediate term."
