McInnis Cement launches new website

12, 2013, Port-Daniel-Gascons, Que. – McInnis Cement has launched a new website
that will update and inform those following its $1 billion Port-Daniel-Gascons cement
plant project.

The
website, available in English and French, is available at www.mcinniscement.com
and www.cimentmcinnis.com. It contains a wide range of information, including a
3D animation showcasing the project in its setting. In addition, users will be
able to get information about the project in its current form, as well as
answers to the most frequently asked questions.

The Port-Daniel-Gascons
cement plant project

The
cement plant project costs almost $1 billion, including almost $700 million to
be invested in the Gaspé region. Once completed, the cement plant will create
up to 600 jobs during the construction phase and provide permanent direct and
indirect employment for 400 people once production begins.

The
cement plant project sits on a deposit estimated to contain over 450 million
tons of high-quality limestone good for cement production. In addition to the
purchase of the property, significant development work on the project has
already been undertaken including site preparation, the access road and
maritime terminal, engineering and necessary environmental upgrades.
