Italian equipment manufacturer MB S.p.A is setting its sights on Canada as a new market for its line of crusher buckets. The Breganze, Italy-based company will work with Piedmont, Que.-based Conderoc Inc., a Canadian company that works with heavy machines and specializes in excavation and mining equipment. Conderoc will sell the company’s products in Quebec.
“Our customer base is very diversified and includes companies working in areas ranging from open pit mines to the recycling business,” explains Maurice Paiement, general manager of Conderoc. “We also have contractors that operate gravel pits and stone quarries, and produce aggregates for concrete production and municipal street repairs. We even have customers that break salt blocks for winter road maintenance contracts.”

Paiement says Conderoc decided to introduce the MB Crusher buckets to Canada after seeing the product at a number of major trade shows. “Visiting different major international shows like Bauma, Intermat and Conexpo, I discovered this type of equipment and decided to introduce it to the Canadian market,” he explains. “We feel these products are some of the best performing crushing buckets in the world.”

Paiement sees some major advantages in the MB Crusher line for his customers. “We’ve chosen the MB Crusher bucket because it represents a more modern way of working, and better cost control on the job site. The use of a crushing bucket is a more modern way of operating as it permits huge savings in transportation, and can generate substantially higher profits for contractors.”

A major advantage to contractors using the MB Crusher buckets is that they are simple to use and easy to maintain. “They are easy to handle, simple to haul, and the contractor can access tight areas with them that they could not access with larger units. In addition, the MB Crusher bucket prevents the utilization of two machines – a loader or excavator and a fixed crusher, creating significant savings and allowing contractors to bid lower on the job.”

Choosing a crusher bucket can result in cost savings as well as improved environmental performance, concludes Paiement.

“They offer ease of transportation, low maintenance costs, they don’t require a dedicated operator in addition to the one assigned to the excavator, and they save the fuel required by a movable crusher,” he notes. “Not to mention the eco-friendly cleanliness of the jobs, which are completed with the minimum amount of dust being raised and low noise levels for low environmental impact.”
