July 2, 2014, Toronto, Ont. – Contending candidates for the
upcoming municipal election in Toronto have finally found some common ground:
they all agree that rehabilitation, and not demolition, is the best way to
proceed with the future of the Gardiner Expressway.

According to a report from the Daily Commercial News, the
candidates believe that the Expressway should undergo extensive rehabilitation
efforts to improve traffic flow in and out of the city’s downtown core and
waterfront area.
