Transportation Minister Nick McGrath let Humber Valley out
of the original contract with the province for roadwork on the Trans-Canada
Highway. Forest fires in Labrador interrupted the work.

By the end of 2014, it is expected that Marine will complete
rehabilitation work on 11.9 kilometres of the Trans-Canada Highway, as well as
several other projects within Newfoundland.
