
November 19, 2015 – The Government of Manitoba has announced that it will extend the province’s core infrastructure plan, including a $1 billion new partnership with the City of Winnipeg.
According to an article from the Winnipeg Free Press, the three-year extension of the program to 2020 will bring the total investment in infrastructure to $10 billion.
The new deal for Winnipeg for infrastructure will mean an approximate 25 per cent increase in funding for the city’s infrastructure, including paving and upgrading roads.
