Low bid to no longer win in Newfoundland?

December 16, 2016 – The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has announced that it plans on replacing the current Public Tender Act with new legislation that would award best value over lowest cost, according to a recent CBC report.

The report states that the proposed new act would value environmental and socio-economic benefits over the lowest bidder.
