Lafarge Canada showcasing Onoway Wash Plant at Quarry Tech!
January 12, 2018 By Andrew Snook

January 11, 2018 – An exciting addition to Quarry Tech, Lafarge Canada will be presenting on its newly constructed Onoway Wash Plant at the upcoming forum, taking place on Feb. 22 at the Radisson Calgary in Calgary, Alta.
The wash plant, designed for the production of high-quality concrete aggregates, was constructed with a special mirror image, four-jig system – the first of its kind in the Edmonton area – that removes almost all traces of coal from the produced products. The jig systems installed at the Onoway Wash Plant for Lafarge’s rock and sand is an air-pulsated water system that pulsates air upwards causing deleterious foreign matter to float to the top to be pushed away from the final material.
Lafarge Canada’s presentation will also feature a video of the facility.
