investment there, says a Conference Board of Canada report.
Jan. 10, 2011 – The availability of labour to help make construction opportunities in Canada’s north a reality is as crucial as government investment there, says a Conference Board of Canada report.
“All in all, the funding initiatives for the territories, should they all go forward, will have a considerable temporary impact on the size and strength of the construction sectors in these regions,” the report concluded. “These increased construction demands will be a challenge to meet, however, with the limited number of trades people.” | READ MORE
