Feb. 21, 2012, Oklahoma City – To enhance customer and distributor support, Terex Roadbuilding announces the appointment of Jeff Thress as the full-line road building equipment district manager for eastern Canada.
For the past 12 years, Thress has served as the regional sales manager for the Terex® Bid-Well line of automatic roller pavers. Thress is now the single-source contact for customers and distributors for all Terex road building equipment lines, making it easier and more efficient to do business with Terex Roadbuilding, thanks to new simplified sales and support processes for equipment manufactured in Canton, S.D., Fort Wayne, Ind., and Oklahoma City, Okla.
Thress has equipment sales and support responsibilities for the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Now responsible for a smaller geographical region than with his previous assignment, Thress will be able to dedicate more time to building stronger relationships with contractors and distributors, helping them to be more successful in their jobs.
“Our district manager team is diverse and experienced with each member offering skill sets critical to the success of our customers, distributors and the Terex Roadbuilding line,” says David Rinas, director of sales and marketing for Terex Roadbuilding North America. “Thress brings 40 years of sales experience to our field sales team. He has helped customers relying on Terex Bid-Well equipment to successfully complete their projects, and we look forward to this carrying over to the entire Terex Roadbuilding line.”
Supplying the industry with a broad line of asphalt, concrete equipment and landfill equipment, Terex Roadbuilding offers exclusive designs that allow operations to complete projects more efficiently and profitably. “We will continue with the same multichannel sales strategy for Terex Roadbuilding equipment, and Jeff will work to strengthen the distribution network within his territory for asphalt mobile equipment and concrete paving and production equipment to provide local sales and service support for our customers,” adds Rinas.
At the same time, Thress will work directly with customers using Terex asphalt plant equipment, Terex Bid-Well pavers and Terex ready mix trucks. Thress can be reached at 740-503-5768 (cell) or Jeff.Thress@Terex.com.
