Inquest into quarry death set for January

The Ontario regional coroner has set a date for an inquest into the death of a man killed at an Oro-Medonte quarry four years ago

Michael Pridham, a 35-year-old father of two, died in hospital on Dec. 21, 2018, from injuries sustained while working at a work site north of Barrie.

At the time of the incident, a Ministry of Labour spokesperson said Pridham suffered fatal injuries while dismantling a stone/gravel impact crusher.
