June 28, 2013, Toronto – Holcim Canada and its Dufferin
Construction division will be donating funds through the Canadian Red Cross for
the victims of the recent flooding in Southern Alberta.

"The Red Cross is grateful for this generous donation
from Holcim Canada," said Conrad Sauvé, Canadian Red Cross Secretary
General and CEO. "Donations such as this will ensure that the Canadian Red
Cross can continue its work in Alberta to help those families who have been
affected by the flooding."

Both Holcim Canada and Dufferin Construction have operations
in Western Canada, including major infrastructure projects in Calgary and
cement distribution terminals in Alberta. The company has built a solid
reputation for its commitment to the communities where it operates and believes
strongly in giving back, particularly in times of need.

"We take great pride in being a responsible member of
the communities where we live and work and do what we can to protect the health
and security of those communities and that of our neighbours," said Nick
Caccavella, senior vice-president of Holcim Canada. "Our thoughts and heartfelt
sympathies are with those impacted by the recent flooding and we hope for their
safety as recovery efforts continue."
