responsible for North America / UK and member of senior management of Holcim
Ltd, reporting directly to Bernard Fontana.

Switzerland – Holcim announced that Alain Bourguignon will become Area Manager
responsible for North America / UK and member of senior management of Holcim
Ltd, reporting directly to Bernard Fontana.
Bourguignon,
currently the CEO of Aggregate Industries UK for Holcim, was named to the
position as part of a global reorganization of senior management in an attempt
to focus the leadership of the company.
Alain Bourguignon
joined Holcim in 1988 as Head of Controlling Holcim France. In 1996, he was
appointed CFO of the same company and in 1999 of Holcim Belgium. In 2001, Alain
Bourguignon was made General Manager of Holcim France-Benelux and in 2007 joined
Holcim Spain – first as COO and subsequently as CEO. In 2010, he took over his
current role. Alain Bourguignon holds a degree in Economics and Finance.
All changes become
effective January 1st, 2014.
