Heavy Equipment industry reaps benefits from Moncton trade show

January 29, 2020  By Rock to Road

Moncton, N.B. – The Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show is planning its return to the Moncton Coliseum Complex this April 2 and 3. The show has been making a big impact in the Atlantic provinces over the years, with thousands of dollars re-invested back into the industry by the Atlantic Land Improvement Contractors Association (ALICA).

The Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show, established by the ALICA in 1986, is an activity delivered by ALICA as a means of keeping members and Atlantic Canadians informed and aware of the latest products, services, equipment and technologies.

“As proud owners of the Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show, ALICA would like to recognize and thank the exhibitors and visitors who have made it a successful industry event over the past 32 years,” says David Page, president of ALICA. “Thank you for enabling ALICA to give back in supporting these worthwhile programs and activities across the region to help the future of these prosperous industries.”

The success of the show has helped sustain the Association since its inception and has financially supported the forestry, construction and land improvement sectors through a variety of initiatives. ALICA has been proud to contribute over $75,000 annually through the following initiatives:

The Atlantic Heavy Equipment Show broke records at its last edition in 2018, attracting 14,800 visitors from across the Maritimes and beyond. The entire Moncton Coliseum complex will be filled with indoor and outdoor exhibits of machinery, products, and services. This year’s show space is already over 95 per cent sold out.

Online pre-registration is now open for attendees to begin planning their visit. Pre-registration is $10.00 per person ($20.00 at the door) and covers both days of the event.
