GSSI Announces 2022 Colorado and Oregon Showcases Focused on Ground Penetrating Radar for the Concrete and Utility Markets

September 12, 2022  By GSSI

GSSI, the world’s leading manufacturer of ground-penetrating radar (GPR) equipment, will be hosting a series of Showcases in Colorado and Oregon in September 2022 focused on GPR applications in the concrete and utility industries. Experts will be on hand to demonstrate GSSI’s StructureScan™ Mini XT all-in-one concrete scanner and the UtilityScan® system.

The showcase events will be held in Denver, Colorado on September 13th and 14th and in Portland, Oregon on September 16th. Each location will feature hands-on demonstrations of the Mini XT and the UtilityScan and a presentation on why GPR is the correct tool to add to your jobsite. A GSSI technical trainer will also be at all the showcase locations to answer more technical questions about GPR or specific application questions attendees might have.

Ideal for concrete inspection and evaluation, the Mini XT can easily and accurately locate the position and depth of metallic and non-metallic objects in concrete structures, including rebar, conduit, post-tension cables, pan decking, voids and service utilities. Reduce safety risks, financial exposure, costly delays and provide the full-range of services to your customers by adding this concrete scanner to your toolbox.

For use in utility applications, UtilityScan is ideal for marking the location and depth of subsurface utilities, including gas, sewer, and communication lines. The rugged, flexible system is rated IP65, with durable components tested to withstand the most challenging survey environments, including rain, dust, and extreme cold down. For areas where Wi-Fi is prohibited, the system includes a rugged Ethernet cable that can be used for communication between the tablet and antenna.
