the Way to Greener Roads is Rock to
Road magazine’s 2014 Tech Update event, an annual series designed to bring
the latest technology and processes to the aggregates and roadbuilding industry’s
doorstep.
November 8, 2013, Simcoe, Ont. – Next April, Canada’s paving
industry will join international experts to discuss ways to lighten the
environmental footprint of our sector. Paving
the Way to Greener Roads is Rock to
Road magazine’s 2014 Tech Update event, an annual series designed to bring
the latest technology and processes to the aggregates and roadbuilding industry’s
doorstep.
Held in Brantford, just west of Toronto, the conference will
focus on new technologies that are reducing the carbon footprint of the road
building industry. Discussions will focus on the use of recycled materials in
road building and the new technology that is helping contractors build asphalt
and concrete roads.
Paving the Way to
Greener Roads will include a full day of seminars with presentations from
industry experts throughout North America. There will also be displays from
industry leading manufacturers and distributors who will be on hand to discuss
the latest in road building technology, and how it fits into the Canadian
environment.
“This event is an opportunity to bring industry
professionals together to share information about the newest research and
technology that will help build greener roads in Canada,” says Tim Tolton,
sales manager for Rock To Road.
The 2014 Rock to Road
Tech Update will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at the Best Western
Plus Brant Park Inn and Conference Centre. Early bird registration for the Tech
Update is $49 plus HST, and includes breakfast snack, lunch, coffee breaks,
exhibit access, and all seminars. Early bird pricing will be available until
January 31st, 2014.
