October 7, 2015  By  Andrew Macklin

October 7, 2015 – Transport Quebec has released details of the timeline for the five-year construction of the $3.7 Turcot Interchange.

According to a report from the Montréal Gazette, the construction will cause multiple detours and ramp closures, however the construction team plans to significantly limit any lane closures through the detour areas.

The $3.7 billion project represents the most expensive road construction project in Quebec history. The 45-year-old interchange links Highways 15, 20 and 720 along with providing access to the Champlain Bridge.
