April 24, 2018 - SMS Equipment Inc. is pleased to announce that they are moving their Williams Lake, B.C. branch to a new and larger location within the area to better serve their customers. The move is scheduled for Friday, April 27, 2018. The new location is a short one-minute drive from their previous office and features approximately 8,000 square feet on a level 1.5-acre lot.
April 23, 2018 - The North American off-highway equipment market is expected to grow by almost 55% from 2017 to 2022, according to a recent forecast by Off-Highway Research. Forecasted sales of construction equipment for North America are expected to grow from 173,188 units in 2017, up to 267,350 units in 2022.

April 18, 2018 - The introduction of Controller Area Network (CAN-bus) architecture for the engine control interface in off-highway vehicles has opened up a new world of user interface possibilities. CAN-bus offers vehicle owners greater flexibility and functionality in a much smaller package, while offering integration options that cut assembly costs. The next generation of CAN-bus Keypads and Man-Machine Interface (MMI) Controllers gives users access to a vast amounts of vehicle information and are designed to meet the additional requirements anticipated future vehicle safety regulations.
April 9, 2018 –Talbert Manufacturing, a North American leader in specialized heavy-haul solutions, has welcomed Steve Gardonyi as Canadian sales manager. March 23, 2018 - Danfoss Power Solutions has added two high-flow proportional valves to its PVG portfolio, expanding its range of low to high-flow capabilities for OEM customers with demanding applications. The PVG 128 and PVG 256 valves are designed to easily integrate with the existing line of Danfoss high performance proportional valves — PVG 16 and PVG 32 — allowing modularity from low to high hydraulic flow within the same valve stack.

March 12, 2018 — Talbert Manufacturing, a North American leader in specialized heavy-haul solutions, marks its 80th year in business. Austin Talbert started the company in 1938 as a heavy haul, crane rental and construction equipment business in Lyons, Illinois. He quickly became known as a pioneer in heavy-haul trailer safety with his invention of the industry’s first gooseneck model with removable rear suspension.
