Aprill 19, 2017 - The Leica iCON rig solution for drilling and piling machines will be directly implemented into LIPOS factory-mounted add-on kit, which includes a fixture for the easy and quick installation of hardware without the need to change the machine structure. The rig solution will now be part of the process for data recording and reporting in Liebherr deep foundation machinery.
April 19, 2017 - Magna Tyres Group is proud to announce the introduction of the new Magna MA11 Tyre for compact wheel loaders. This radial constructed tyre, with an E2/L2 tread pattern is designed for construction applications (road, residential, commercial) and landscaping. It is the latest addition to the Magna product range and is available in tyre sizes 365/70R18, 405/70R18, and 405/70R20.
April 19, 2017 — Located inside the mile-long Dubuque Works facility, the newly minted John Deere Machine Health Monitoring Center is changing how John Deere and its dealers analyze data and proactively support customers through mainstream technology. Additionally, the Moline-based manufacturer launched the Machine Monitoring Center concept at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017. A simulated monitoring center was the centerpiece of the exhibit, showcasing what John Deere dealers are doing everyday — monitoring machines and reacting and responding more efficiently to critical issues that can result in costly downtime.
April 19, 2017 — In an effort to better meet the needs of today’s customer and the evolving job site, John Deere is extending its JDLink in-base subscription service from three to five years on construction and forestry machines. The update is a result of increased customer interest in technology and the integration of 4G hardware in John Deere equipment. The extension also allows the manufacturer to stay connected with machines beyond the warranty period and unlocks additional functionality and value for customers.
April 17, 2017 - The construction industry has seen it coming for a while now: The commoditization and decreased costs of telematics, both in terms of hardware and connectivity, could help lead to billions of dollars worth of new efficiencies in operations and capital management. Several factors, including a downturned economy and glut of used equipment that has at times slowed the purchasing of new machines, have meant the industry has been slow to adopt telematics and the so-called industrial internet-of-things. But there are signs that will soon dramatically change.

March 29, 2017 - Volvo CE has officially inaugurated and unveiled its 195 SEK (approximately $29.34 million) state-of-the-art test facility in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The new building is home to several test rigs that will test both electric and conventional drivelines and components. One of the test rigs – which allows all a machine’s wheels to be controlled and measured independently, enabling the entire electromobility driveline to be tested in a modular way – is thought to be the first of its kind in the industry.
