February 24, 2016 – This issue we look at the toughest, most rugged crushers available for producing aggregates in even the toughest Canadian climates.

Terex Finlay
The C-1554 cone crusher is the latest addition to the Terex Finlay range of tracked mobile cone crushers. This machine incorporates the Terex MVP450x cone crusher that can accept an all in feed and features direct variable speed clutch drive and hydraulic closed side setting (CSS) adjustment. The Terex MVP450x cone crusher simply pulverizes everything that stands in the way of success. The MVP cone crusher features a patented Rollercone roller bearing design and the hydropneumatic tramp iron
relief system.

KPI-JCI
KPI-JCI and Astec Mobile Screens new track-mounted GT200 cone crushing plant features a 1200LS Cone Crusher, which includes a new tramp iron relief system that utilizes pressure relief valve technology. The TIR system minimizes crusher overload and impact shock loads transmitted to the crusher components.

The GT200’s 1200LS Cone Crusher includes a new hydraulic chamber clear feature. The cone crusher utilizes all roller bearing construction for improved production and energy. The plant also features a one-piece cast steel base frame for improved strength, and its crusher chamber is designed to crush a broad range of aggregate in feed sizes at various closed-side-settings utilizing a standard-liner configuration.

Telsmith
Telsmith’s T900TM Cone Crusher, a true mine-duty machine designed and engineered to deliver maximum uptime, productivity, safety, and ease of maintenance amidst the 24/7 operating demands of the toughest hard rock mining applications. Offering a capacity output range from 550 to 2100 MTPH, with up to a 381mm (15”) feed size, the T900TM boasts 900-HP performance.

McLanahan
McLanahan’s Universal Jaw Crushers feature reversible jaw dies that increase wear life. These crushers feature lighter replaceable upper and lower stationary jaw die clamp plates, making it easier to install, replace and secure the die – and all clamp plates are interchangeable. Three cheek plates per side allow liners in high wear areas to be replaced independently. Additionally, Universal Jaw Crushers are designed with frames that allow for infinite installation possibilities.

Terex MPS
The new Terex Cedarapids CRJ3750 plant combines a large 37” x 50” JS Series jaw crusher with a high stroke, 52” x 20” vibrating grizzly feeder resulting in a high production portable crushing machine. The CRJ3750 is built tough, including a new hopper design, to handle severe primary crushing applications. The highly mobile plant is easy to operate and maintain and offers new levels of reliability and convenience. Multiple configuration options are available.

Hazemag
The Hazemag APCM Series Compound Crusher (Primary/Secondary Crusher in One Machine) was developed to avoid the problems and the investment of a comprehensive closed circuit system. The compound crusher is an arrangement of two rotors, both turning in the same direction, resulting in a very high reduction of the feed material. The product size, 90% -1”, provides a perfect ball mill feed. Furthermore, the compound crusher produces a large percentage of –3/8”, which also reduces the load on the ball mill.

Screen Machine
The 5256T Impact Crusher is a track-mounted crusher designed to crush quarry rock or recyclable materials such as concrete and asphalt. The 5256T Portable Impact Crusher is loaded with great features such as standard heavy-duty tracks and a Caterpillar C-15 475 HP (354.2.2 kw) diesel engine, 52” (1.3m) x 56” (1.4m) horizontal impact crusher, 56” (1.4m) x 38” (.9m) feed inlet opening, fully remote controlled operation.

McCloskey
The J45R high capacity jaw crusher features a true 45” x 27” jaw. With both level and load sensors the J45R ensures the most efficient material handling across applications. Optimized for Type 1 crushing applications, the J45R recirculating jaw crusher features a heavy duty bofar design and pan feeder chutes with steeper angles to reduce material sticking. The J45R boasts a 14’-10.2” x 7’-3/4” hopper with close to 9 cubic yards (6.8m3) capacity. Rugged and versatile, the J45 crusher models offer the field-tested reliability required for the toughest projects around the globe.

Kleemann
Compact size and a high-performance vibratory feeder with integrated grizzly are keys to the enhanced productivity of the new Mobicat MC 100 Ri EVO jaw crusher from Kleemann. The MC 100 Ri EVO’s feed system – with vibrating feeder 7 ft. long by nearly 3 ft. wide, and integrated slotted grizzly and screen mesh below – receives product as large as 36 x 20 in. in size, with raw feed capacity of 221 tph. Weighing 33 short tons, the MC 100 Ri EVO is very easy to transport, making it ideal for rotating from jobsite to jobsite.

Sandvik
The UH640 is a flexible, highly productive secondary or tertiary cone crusher. This unique solution is capable of producing finished sized products due to the integral product screen and closed circuit operation. The UH640 is self-propelled on crawlers and all equipment onboard is electrical powered by the onboard genset or via an external power supply. Contractors also benefit from a dual interlocking and intelligence system that is integrated with ASRi (automatic setting regulation system) for optimal performance. We also ensure flexibility from a choice of mantles and settings making it suitable for a wide range of applications worldwide.
