The show will once again feature some of the solid programming and activities that have helped to establish the show.

The Gravel Pit, treating visitors to a huge display of aggregate machinery, including equipment like crushers, conveyors, scales, recyclers, front-end loaders, hammers, drives/motors and more.

A snow and ice removal area showcasing the products, services, equipment and technology used in snow and ice removal, and winter operations – big business when it comes to life in Canada.

The Rental Pavilion, which will include the latest equipment, tools, and products for sale or rent to the contractors and road building professionals who faithfully attend this event every two years.

A “Recruiting Here” feature, allowing exhibitors looking to grow their ranks and hire new employees to hunt for new talent onsite. Visitors are encouraged to come with resumes in-hand.

This year also welcomes the introduction of Heavy Education, a full day of seminars presented by Rock to Road magazine. The program will feature two seminars covering two subject areas of significant importance to the aggregates and road construction industry: preventative maintenance and finance.

The first seminar will look at the benefits of lubes and fluids for preventative maintenance, and will be presented by Mike Deckert, vice-president of Flo Components. The second seminar will look at preventative maintenance for crushing and screening equipment, and will be presented by Peter Szaranski of McCloskey International.

The afternoon sessions on finance will look at best practices for financing your equipment needs, both from the perspective of buying vs. renting vs. leasing, as well as knowing your options for how to finance the purchase. The finance seminars will be presented by a team from NationalLeasing and Deloitte. The seminars will discuss recent lending trends, the importance of cash flow and are free with your admission to the show, however advanced registration is required. Rock to Road will also use the show to present its annual Top 10 under 40 winners. The Top 10 under 40 recognizes 10 individuals across Canada who are under the age of 40 and making a significant contribution to Canada’s rock to road industry.
