This EX 10248 asphalt plant combines high volume, high efficiency, and environmental friendliness in a compact package. Designed for maximum asphalt production, the plant features a 102-in. drum diameter and 48-ft. drum length. It can handle up to 50% RAP and produces 400 TPH. Like all EX Series plants (120-425 TPH), its single-drum counterflow technology provides the longest aggregates drying and mixing times in the industry to ensure consistent, quality asphalt, meeting all federal and state specifications.
Counterflow technology captures residual gases and reintroduces them back to the combustion zone, practically eliminating blue smoke and hydrocarbon emissions to meet strict environmental regulations. The single-drum counterflow technology also achieves maximum heat transfer and fuel efficiency through its separate drying and mixing zones. The EX 10248 affords single-operator capability, easy troubleshooting and simple maintenance. Like all ADM EX Series asphalt plants, the plant is highly customizable with any of ADM’s standard components.
