Construction worker hit by vehicle on Hwy 28

A construction worker suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on highway 28 near Peterborough, Ont. on Monday.

Peterborough County OPP say they responded to the collision around 2 p.m.

The worker was transported to a Toronto-area hospital for their injuries.
