CDE is bringing back its virtual conference in 2021 for industry leaders to get together and share their experience and expertise on a range of materials processing topics.

More than 100 industry professionals spoke at 90 different sessions over two days at CDE’s 2020 conference. The 2021 conference will cover three days.

“As we adapt and change to life in this new world, we will continue to share our expertise and learn from leading industry professionals, to create our best world a ton at a time. We are excited to announce our hugely successful virtual symposium will return for 2021 as a way to learn together, wherever in the world we are,” said Marc Jennings, chief executive officer at CDE.

Networking chat rooms let attendees discuss learnings and insights, as well as create connections with industry-leading experts during breaks.

CDE Business Development Manager Laurenz Peschke and Technical Service Installation Manager Brian Barndt, with Todd Ruttura from company Ruttura & Sons Construction in New York, will discuss CDE’s solutions for concrete recycling and talk about the customized solution created for the company and the many benefits and use for recycled concrete.

For quarry operators contemplating the hidden value in existing operations, the symposium will include a roundtable discussion with customers in the sand and aggregates industry who maximized their production by investing in advanced wet processing technologies.

CDE’s Business Development Director Darren Eastwood will lead a session on how companies can be sustainably profitable, transforming construction, demolition and excavation (C, D & E) waste and contaminated soils into certified saleable in-spec products. US customers, including Posillico Materials, will share its experience on waste recycling and the high quality of its final products.

North American market trends

In a look ahead to the market scenario for North America in the next 10 years, industry professionals will share their views on construction industry trends, including a potential decline in quarrying and higher demand in urban recycling, including recycling other inert materials such as contaminated soils, ash from incineration, harbour dredge and others.

The program also includes a number of presentations, including overcoming complex technical challenges that require specific expertise through customized wet processing solutions with guaranteed performance.

“Extending to three days, our virtual conference will host live seminars in multiple languages, carefully curated to facilitate different time zones so we can engage in real-time with customers, peers and industry leaders to address issues of the day, innovative technological advances and of course opportunities as we emerge from the current global crisis,” said Jennings.

Registration is free, but places will be limited for some roundtable and seminar sessions. For more information about the event or to register, visit cdeglobal.com/vevent
