BKT Tires Canada forms OTR supply partnership with Fountain Tire

Photo: BKT Tires BKT Tires Canada has partnered with Fountain Tire in an off-the-road (OTR) tire supply alliance.
Effective immediately, Fountain Tire will have full access to BKT’s OTR product line-up for sale through its locations across Canada.
“This alliance allows BKT to expand our OTR footprint in Canada,” says Rajiv Poddar, Jt. managing director of Balkrishna Industries Ltd., in a statement. “By aligning with Fountain Tire, we are able to serve a growing OTR segment.”
BKT offers a large range of off-highway tires specially designed for vehicles in the OTR and agricultural sectors, and it is particularly focused on developing the OTR segment. The company has recently expanded its Radial EARTHMAX lineup by introducing two Giant OTR sizes in 51 and 57 inches.
Strengthening its position in the OTR industry is thus strategic for BKT, especially in Canada and the U.S.
This alliance indeed offers a new distribution channel for BKT Tires Canada, and at the same time it broadens Fountain Tire’s product line, providing an increased selection of OTR bias and radial tires.
