Mar. 2, 2012 – Astec Mobile Screens has made personnel changes in both
product support and engineering, largely as a result of Tom Holck
transitioning to the position of Regional Product Support Manager for
Astec AggReCon South.
Tim Mandrell has been named Director of Product Support for AMS. Tim has been with the company since 1995 and has spent the previous ten years as the Engineering Manager. His new responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of the Parts & Service Departments as well as managing Quality Control and Technical Publications. Tim's knowledge of the products combined with his communication skills made him an ideal candidate for this position. Tim and his new staff will also continue to provide creative input on the design of our equipment moving forward.
Chad Abell has been promoted to Engineering Manager. Chad was hired as a Design Engineer in 2008 and has been instrumental in the development of our track mounted screening plants. Chad brings with him years of experience in managing R&D projects and has a natural talent to think outside of the box. His strong work ethic and leadership qualities make him a natural fit for the position. Chad's new responsibilities will be overseeing the design of our current and future product lines.
