Sept. 13, 2010, Hamilton, Ont. – The Hamilton Port Authority has inked a new 392,000-sq.-ft. long-term lease agreement with McAsphalt Industries Limited at Pier 24.

"It was just a matter of time before we had to move out of the Port of Toronto, and the Port of Hamilton was a natural location to invest and relocate. We have a lot of work ahead of us in moving the large storage tanks along with the construction of new infrastructure. We hope to be opened by the spring of 2012. The relocation project along with the day-to-day operation of the terminal will provide many local jobs for the community of Hamilton," says John Carrick, president of McAsphalt Industries Limited. | READ MORE
