As days heat up, the economic climate grows cold

July 12, 2011 – Two Statistics Canada reports were issued at the time of
the summer solstice indicating sunny days for the nation’s economy.
Total retail sales in April were +0.3% month to month and the gain in
the leading indicator index was +0.9%, again month to month.
