Alexman Contracting wins contract to replace aging bridge

Plans are moving forward to replace an aging bridge on the 12th Line near Alliston., Ont.

Alexman Contracting Inc. has won the contract to oversee the project, a bridge located about 400 metres east of Sideroad 10, and spans over the Innisfil Creek. The project is expected to begin Sept. 12 and be completed during the final week of August 2023.

Work is expected to take place through the winter, but a shutdown may occur between March and April due to seasonal load restrictions on roads.
