New OSSGA appointment to MLRC

June 15, 2018 – Matt McDonald has been appointed as the new OSSGA representative on the Mining Legislative Review Committee (MLRC). He succeeds Jim Clark who was the industry member for many years. 

The Ministry of Labour relies extensively on the advice from the MLRC regarding amendments to health and safety legislation. The MLRC continues to be an outstanding example of government, industry and labour working together toward the common goal of improving health and safety in Ontario’s workplaces. 

OSSGA wishes Matt McDonald all the very best for his tenure on the committee, and thanks Jim Clark for his hard work and contributions.
