The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has been recognized as a top workplace in Southeast Wisconsin by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Dennis Slater, AEM president, said the award is particularly important this year because of the pandemic and how the team has worked together.

“I’m so proud of our team and how we continue to support each other as well as provide the best value for our more than 1,000 members that are located across North America,” said Slater.

This is the sixth time AEM has made the list of top workplaces.

In March 2020, the association instituted a universal work-from-home policy as the pandemic struck to keep staff safe and healthy.

“We work to foster a culture of respect, inclusion and empowerment at AEM and this award reflects that effort,” said Judy Glaus, vice-president of HR and operations at AEM.

“Challenges often bring teams closer together, and we’ve seen that this year as we adjusted approaches to keep staff connected, healthy and engaged.”

AEM represents more than 1,000 companies and more than 200 product lines in the agriculture and construction-related sectors worldwide.
