GSSI Showcases Its Latest GPR Technology at Canadian Concrete Expo 2022

Geophysical Survey Systems, Inc, (GSSI) is excited to be back in attendance at Canadian trade shows. GSSI will be at the Canadian Concrete Expo to be held May 18-19, 2022 at The International Centre in Toronto, Canada, Booth #2670. On display will be the StructureScan™ Mini XT concrete inspection GPR system and the UtilityScan®GPR System.

The StructureScan™ Mini XT is the tool built to handle all your job site and survey needs. This rugged system is designed with an integrated display for single operator data collection and interpretation. Reduce safety risks, financial exposure, and costly delays and provide the full-range of services to your customers by adding this concrete scanner to your toolbox.

The Mini XT is ideal for concrete inspection and evaluation. Easily and accurately locate the position and depth of metallic and non-metallic objects in concrete structures, including rebar, conduit, post-tension cables, pan decking, voids and service utilities.

Visitors to the booth can also see the UtilityScan system, which makes locating and marking the depth of underground utilities in real-time in the field easier. With real-time target mapping and advanced scanning and identification capabilities, the rugged and flexible UtilityScan helps utility locating professionals accelerate their workflow from target detection to reporting. UtilityScan is ideal for marking the location and depth of subsurface utilities, including gas, sewer, and communication lines. Real-time target mapping features include a new Map Mode that allows users to trace their steps and gain a bird’s-eye view of their survey. The rugged, flexible system is rated IP65, with durable components tested to withstand the most challenging survey environments including rain, dust, and extreme cold down to 4°F. The integrated Panasonic G2 tablet screen is designed for rain and glove use.
