7-hectare quarry proposed for Swift Current, Newfoundland

Dean Clarke Contracting Ltd. is proposing to develop a seven-hectare quarry approximately five kilometres from the town of Swift Current, N.L., near the Piper’s Hole River.

The development will include the grubbing and stockpiling of material on site.

Operations will include excavating, screening, stockpiling and transporting aggregate materials.

The undertaking was registered on March 31, with the deadline for public comment on May 6.
