Road construction worker killed near Ottawa

April 26, 2016 – A multi-vehicle crash along Highway 17 near Arnprior, west of Ottawa, has claimed the life of a road construction worker while leaving another in critical condition.

According to a CBC News article, a black mid-size SUV struck two parked construction vehicles. Two construction workers, who were outside of the vehicles at the time, were also struck.

42-year-old William Danniel Milton of Northbrook, Ont. was pronounced dead at the scene. A second, still unidentified worker was airlifted to hospital in critical condition.
