November 29, 2016 – A lot of equipment and trucks have changed hands in Alberta this year. Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers has sold more than 61,000 items in the province so far in 2016, including 39,000-plus sold at its Edmonton site alone. If you’re looking for one last opportunity to get the equipment you need before the end of the year, Ritchie Bros. will hold its final 2016 Edmonton auction on December 8 and 9 — there are already 4,000-plus items to choose from.

The two-day unreserved auction already features 360-plus trailers, 100-plus truck tractors, 60-plus compactors, 45-plus dozers, 55-plus excavators, as well as a large selection of vocational trucks, lifting equipment, and much more. All items will be sold unreserved—no minimum bids or reserve prices. Bidders can participate in person at the auction site or online at rbauction.com.

“We will be selling equipment and trucks for hundreds of Alberta companies—helping move idle or underutilized assets to people and companies who need it to work today or in the coming year,” said Brian Glenn, senior vice-president of Ritchie Bros. “Our final Edmonton auction of the year has equipment from every sector. If you need it, we probably have it. We welcome interested bidders to check our website or visit our auction site in person to test and inspect the items themselves.”

Equipment will be sold for more than 550 owners, including complete dispersals for Dan Bailey Oilfield & Road Construction Ltd., Corvet Construction 1977 Ltd., and Site Safety Services Inc.
