September 3, 2015 – Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI) announced the acquisition of R.A.S. Industries Ltd. (RAS) of Surrey, B.C. as of August 31, 2015. RAS is one a manufacturer of engineered conveyor pulleys.
RAS has earned a reputation for building some of the largest conveyor pulleys for use in the most demanding applications around the world. Their focused expertise and relationships in the mining industry will certainly be an asset for future growth for both companies.
