Cement production dropped in November

January 13, 2016 – Cement production in November was 1,111,121 tonnes, down 3.8 per cent from the previous year. Production fell over 150,000 from the previous month.

Conversely, domestic shipments of cement rose sharply for November. The 1,082,055 shipped in November represented a 12.4 per cent increase over November of 2014.

While stocks of cement to start the month were lower than in October, stocks at the end of November were slightly higher than the previous month.
