May 13, 2016 – Rock to Road magazine has officially announced plans for its inaugural Careers in Heavy Construction Expo, being held Thursday, October 27th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers facility in Bolton, Ont.
The one-day event will provide high school and college students with an introduction the heavy construction industry. The day will include seminars on education, careers and innovation while also providing an up close look at the technology driving the heavy construction industry forward.
National equipment distributors Strongco and Wajax have come on board as gold sponsors for this year’s event. They will join additional heavy construction companies, as well as representatives from colleges and universities in the region, in the Expo networking area. The networking area will allow students to speak one-on-one with industry representatives to learn more about a potential career in the heavy construction industry.
Admission to the Careers in Heavy Construction Expo is free, but pre-registration is required. Free admission also includes lunch and snacks.
