Feb 25, 2012, Toronto - The Paver of the year, as well as runners' up were announced at the Ontario Road Builders Association AGM held in Toronto February 6-7. The awards are given out by Ontario's MTO.
Here are the finalists and overall winner, along with references to the projects that won them the awards.
- Finalist: Dufferin Construction - Contract 2007-2027 - QEW between Seventh Street and the Garden City Skyway in St. Catharines.
- Finalist: The Miller Group - Contract 2011-4048 - Highway 17 north of Renfrew.
- Finalist: Pioneer Construction- Contract 2010-6037 - Highway 17 east of White Lake narrows
- Winner: Fowler Construction – Contract 2010-5001- Highway 60 for 10km west of the new west gate of Algonquin Park
