Comfort features include adjustable armrests, new automatic climate control and optional heat and ventilation for the standard Cat Comfort Series Seat.

The new Dynamic Inclination Monitor provides readouts of the tractor's pitch angle and side-to-side slope, and an operator-presence feature locks out the powertrain and hydraulic system to avoid unintentional machine movement when the operator enters or leaves the cab.

An Enhanced Auto Shift system provides operator-selectable forward and reverse speeds, and an "OK-to-Start" system electronically checks powertrain, engine coolant and engine oil systems.
