Dec. 5, 2011 – Bosses at construction materials company Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK have welcomed news of extra investment for infrastructure projects throughout the UK in the Chancellor's Autumn Statement.
The £30bn plan to build roads, railways, power stations and schools would provide a welcome boost to the industry. Major schemes, previously mothballed, will now go ahead thanks to both government spending and private cash from pension funds and overseas investment. | READ MORE
