Nov. 7, 2011, Houston, Texas — Soilmec’s 4,000th rotary drill rig, a Soilmec SR-100, typically used for large-diameter drilled cased shafts, rolled off the assembly floor recently.

“The past four years have been intense and full of challenges, yet Soilmec remains committed to developing new products and services to support the industry,” said Simone Trevisani, managing director of Soilmec S.p.A. ”

Soilmec also designs and manufactures advanced technologies for diaphragm and tunnel excavation, and machines for small-diameter piles, and manufactures foundation cranes and ancillary equipment to support many subsurface construction technologies.
