New Pitbull screener easier to tow
Written by Aggregates & Roadbuilding
pitbullAug. 29, 2011 – Lake Erie Portable Screeners has introduced the Pitbull, a new gooseneck hitch version of its commercial grade portable screener, that can be towed to virtually any job site. The Pitbull features heavy-duty suspension, street-legal trailer lights, electric brakes, and an optional gooseneck hitch that makes transportation even easier.

The screener incorporates an 8.5K Torflex axle with oil bath hubs to pull the unit down the road. Curb weight is 13,140 pounds. Once onsite, hydraulic levelling jacks easily convert the screener into operating mode, making it ready to start screening material within minutes.

Other new upgrades include a thicker, heavy-duty conveyor belt and Sauer-Danfoss hydraulic controls.
