March 23, 2011 – The Canadian government has committed to creating a long-term public infrastructure plan which stakeholders such as the construction industry and municipalities have lobbied hard for.
“Going forward, we will work with provinces, territories, the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and other stakeholders to develop a new long-term plan for public infrastructure,” said Jim Flaherty, Canada’s finance minister, upon the unveiling the 2011 federal budget. | READ MORE
