Nov. 22, 2010 – Proposed provincial legislation that calls for safety cameras in construction work zones is not a revenue-generating ploy, says a safety advocate who lost her husband in a highway work zone tragedy.
“I would tell those who say it is a cash grab to move their offices to the middle of highway work site to see just how dangerous it is,” said Liz Webley. “If workers cannot be guaranteed that they come home at the end of the day to their families, it is pretty sad.” | READ MORE
