Lafarge (NA) names new leadership appointments

New president of West Cement Business Unit among announcements.

Nov. 9, 2010 – Lafarge North America and its subsidiary, Lafarge Canada, together, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the United States and Canada, recently announced the appointment of Robert (Bob) Cooper as President, West Cement Business Unit, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Cooper succeeds Alan Kreisberg, who moves to the Lafarge Group in France.

Cooper joins Lafarge’s West BU following ten years in senior management roles in the U.K. and the U.S., where he held roles in cement manufacturing management and logistics. Prior to Lafarge, Cooper worked as an electrical engineer and in mine management, after obtaining his academic education at the University of Wyoming. | READ MORE
